The RacingLine R600 intake is the world's most sophisticated and best-selling cold air intake on the MQB platform, with a choice of two filter element types. And now Racingline introduce the new R600 EVO version for the latest MQB EVO models like Golf 8, Audi S3 8Y etc.
- Two CFD-optimized front intakes that span the front of the vehicle help deliver lower intake temperatures and rewarding performance gains.
- The massive airbox volume houses the filter, complete with thoughtful touches like connecting to the original factory drain pipe and an SAI connector for US cars.
- Your choice of filter unit to meet different needs. Both are twice the size of the standard - up to 600 hp and more.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? R600 'EVO' vs R600
The new MQB 'EVO' cars (like Golf MK8, Audi S3 8Y etc.) need the revised version of the R600 intake.
While the differences are minor, Racingline have upgraded the molding for both the top and base to ensure you still get the perfect new car fit expected from the Racingline R600.
- The underside of the pedestal has been changed to accommodate the new piping layout in MQB Evo vehicles
- Each end of the top lid is now a different shape for a perfect MQB Evo fit

TRIFOAM® FILTER UNIT
Faster, for longer
The highest airflow of all filter types, for the best possible power for more of the time. As a high performance part, regular maintenance is essential to keep it at its very best.
Considerations for the Trifoam® filter:
- the best possible airflow for better performance
- airflow barely deteriorates with dust-loading
- foam is more delicate and does need TLC
- after cleaning and reoiling them they’re as good as new
- they are a lightweight carefully designed genuine motorsport filtration solution

PLEATED COTTON FILTER
Fit and forget
A robust 'fit and forget' filter that will last for years. It gives great initial power output but doesn't have the dust-loading capacity of Trifoam.
Considerations for the pleated cotton filter:
- extremely robust and very long lasting
- excellent flow characteristics when new
- no cleaning needed – fit and forget
- giant surface area and air horn into the pipework
- beautiful looking!
