Easy to install screw in universal O2 sensor extender designed to remove the secondary lambda oxygen sensor from the gas flow when upgrading the front pipe - Size: M18 x 1.5mm
If you fit a de-cat or high flow sports catalyst fitted to your car, you could run the risk of having an engine light (MIL) turning on.
This is due to the fact that the sensor is reading an increase in the CO2 readings from the enhanced gas flow, and would identify this as a fault, and put a warning light on the dashboard.
This lambda sensor extension will help solve this problem and take the sensor out of the direct gas flow, thus fooling it into thinking that gas levels are not increased. This MIL light cheat helps to get rid of dashboard warning lights.
Fitting a sensor extender helps to reduce the risk of engine management lights (EML) illuminating when upgrading to a performance exhaust de-cat or sports catalyst.
